Operation Black and Blue was an event that was held in October 2017. We kicked off a grassroots movement, in which truck drivers and small carriers set out to better the trucking industry. In the last three years, America's finest truckers have been actively working on solutions to issues that have hindered the trucking industry for far too long. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE RALLY IN DC
President Abraham Lincoln created the Emancipation Proclamation for the purpose to change the federal legal status of more than 3 million enslaved people. The irony is that there are 3.5 million truck drivers that the U.S. relies on to keep our country prosperous. Nearly half of them are living out of their trucks for the majority of their career. Today we are fighting to keep federal regulations from treating us as if we are owned like slaves. Not just for truck drivers but for the rights of all Americans.
" this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth." - President Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg Address, November 19, 1863
Perhaps, we shall keep it "by the people, for the people", because it's about the people. After all, a person does not give up their natural rights to live in a civilized society.
Truck Rendezvous Point
Our meeting place for large trucks is in Hagerstown, Md. Interstate 81 exit 5b there are 2 truck stops. The AC&T and the Pilot Travel Center. They are located about 72 miles northeast of Washington DC. About 1 hour and 22 minutes from DC. Overflow parking is available at the Flying J truckstop in Virginia I-81 exit 323, TA travel center in Pennsylvania I-81 exit 5.

(U.S. 50) Constitution Ave NW and 16th St NW
directly south of the White House.

Operation Black and Blue - Public Statement
We love God.
We love America.
We love our families, friends, and Americans.
We love our government, but we are not going to tolerate poor decisions from our Congress. Decisions that violate our Rights, Freedoms and our ability to make sound and adequate choices.
We are not arguing against the Haz-mat regulations. We are not arguing against load securement regulations. We are not arguing against any regulations that are reasonable and hold merit.
We are arguing against the forced use of ELD's! We are arguing against the forced Hours of Service regulations. We will stand up against speed limiters. Why? Because these issues are ineffectual for the purpose of creating safer travel conditions on America's roads and they violate our rights as American citizens. Our rights are individual rights. Congress can't discriminate against a person because of their chosen profession. That is the epitome of despotism.
